August Already... Nearly September 08/19/2011
Well its been another busy month. Andy is all over the place. Scampering up and down stairs over tables and down the sidewalks whenever the urge hits him. Which is most of the time. He has also continued to rack up common day care sicknesses at the rate of about one a week which doesn't leave any down time. However through it all the world remains wonderful and interesting and his little legs never stop moving making him a lot of fun. Last weekend we made it over to Missoula where I dressed up like a penguin and we enjoyed a very nice wedding. Congratulations Ben & Katrina! We also enjoyed a very nice weekend with Andy's grand parents and great grandma. He loved the freedom that a dog door brought to his life but scared himself pretty good when he backed up into his water basin and landed submerged to his chin in cold water. Upon arrival back in Spokane Max turned Beth's Tuesday night ride into a porcine hunt which resulted in two late nights at the vet and who knows how many quills. Max never seems to do anything half way and must have bitten down hard on the thing despite the obvious discomfort. Picture below. His mouth, tongue, and through were full of quills and we are still finding more buried in his cheeks and nose. He was obviously viciously attached :) Hope everyone is well! In the interest of our sanity another one of my friends graciously tied the knot on August 15th providing us with another great excuse to make the drive West to Bozeman MT. The trip turned out great and we spent lots of overdue quality time with friends, hiked to Blackmore Lake, enjoyed a wonderful wedding, swam unrestricted in the reservoir, and even found time to tip back a few to many skis. Chapter 4: Trevor & Liz Tollefsbols' Wedding 07/26/2009
![]() Cheers to Liz and Trevor !!! Friday afternoon we returned to town cleaned up a bit and spent the evening with Trax. Saturday we headed to Big Sky and witnessed the beautiful joining of the Tollefsbols.’ With perfect weather and the beautiful Soldiers Chapel, built by Lizs’ grandfather with majestic views of Lone Peak everything went perfectly. Then the new couple climbed into an American classic and took a relaxed ride down the valley to the Gallatin Gateway Inn for the reception. Dinner was wonderful and the dancing amazing. Trevor’s young nieces cleaned up on the dance floor and everything was very elegant, at least until I delivered the shot ski and we headed off to the local bar to show all the Texans the real Montana. All in all a wonderful day and the first confirmed married couple that met at our wedding 3 years ago. CONGRATULATIONS! | Mike, Beth, Andy, Roo & MaxTraveling gypsies with skis...
